What kind of hairstyle should i wear for prom?

Im going to my boyfriend's prom on the 5th and I want a simple yet sophisticated hairstyle. I have a heart-shaped face, high cheeckbones and a tanned complexion. My hair is black, long, thick and curly but not nappy..what to do, what to do with it? My dress is long, green and pink. it is spaghetti strapped and there is more than plenty cleavage.

1. Poofs are really elegant and popular in fashion shows now aday but I'm sure lots of girls will do it, so if you want something origional thats probably not the right choice. It also depends on your dress...
2. First, I would straiten it, then, i would put a camel hump in the front and let the rest out, like the picture of my avitar.
3. That sounds like me, except I don't have black hair. Well, on special ocasions I wear my hair in a bun, or a just down. if what you say about you is true, you are a VERY pretty person.
4. How about some nice long/neat ringlets with some pinned up to show your face- subtle, sexy, and natural looking for your curls!

6. Upstyle your hair in a loose curl bun. Leave a curled section of hail to drape down the back of your neck. Pin some flowers between the curls of your bun...mabye your favourie flowers, or some that are the same color as your dress.
7. If you want to feel like a princess, get an up-do with curls.
