What is the best hairstyle for an african male?

Right, my hair is about 3.5inches all round in an afro. I want a hairstyle that will look fresh and also have a smart look. I dont want to cut my hair short (0.5-2cm)as it looks straight when it is short and i like my tightly curled texture. Does anyone have any ideas? Cornrows are too extreme and in sudan many people find them as a girl hairstyle, same with dreads.

2. Pick a hairstyle that you like and are comfortable with, I was going to suggest the shaved head look as that is very attractive on black or white men, I think, but it is up to you..! i know this hasn't helped you one bit, but I just like the shaved look...

4. If you have good hair, like nice curls, then I would probably cut it short, but leave the curls on the top. Not real high though, short and small curls. That would look really hot.
5. Well, I am not african american but I find African American men very attractive when they are either bald, or very little hair. Happy Haircutting!!
