How long does it take to style scene hair?

I'm just wondering how long it takes to style - it looks like it'd take ages. I'm asking here b/c scene is more of a youth subculture thing.

1. Depends on how thick your hair is. First, separate it into layers then take a brush and hold your hair out and brush your hair the opposite way until it's poofy at the top. Then hairspray it. Repeat for each layer. You will see that the top is big and it gradually gets smaller.
2. Depends. People who do it good take about 20-30 minutes. I know some girls at my school who just grab hairspray and comb. It takes them about 5 minutes but their hair is way to big and it looks like a nest.

4. It depends how you're doing it and what styling product you're using. It also depends on the thickness of your hair. It can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.

6. Girls seriously spend an hour doing their hair? What a waste of time...it doesn't even look attractive as scene anyway. Whatever happened to curling irons and hair straighteners, and blow driers? Nest? Who would actually want to have a nest on their head...y'all girls are weird.. :-o
