Scene Style

scene style?

Okay well I'm going to try and not offend anyone. My style is almost geeky hippie, don't laugh. Everyone seems so into the 'scene' though. I mean the original scenesters were really cute and unique, but now its just annoying. I mean Audrey Kitching is great, she's got curves a personality and seems fun to be around. Then I've scene 'scene' girls who are so skinny they look gross like 00 sizes who look down on people and brag about how original they are, but all their friends look the same as they do. I guess what I'm trying to ask is when is this trend going to be over??? Please don't think I'm a prep, or that I'm jealous. I'm perfectly comfortable with myself. I have friends who are scene, punk, preppy and I love them estelle- it's a ton like emo, however it's the unspoken word to never ever call it emo never said audrey kitching what the creator. she has just been around a lot longer

  1. what is "scene" anyways???
  2. it'll be over soon and everyone will deny ever even being 'scene' its a ridiculous style and is the opposite of unique when trends get this huge, it's already done being cool, it's f*cking lame.
  3. You're pretty much right. It became a trend after a few famous people changed their clothes. Well just sit back and watch what's next. That's what I'm doing, ya know? As long as I stick to what style I like.
  4. im totally with u on this one. i dont make fun of anyone's style but i really wonder how people can dress "scene" and say they're original...afterall it is the 'hottest' new fashion trend. and as for when it'll be over, it won't scene is an ongoing changing style in the 70's, the scene style was bell bottom jeans and afros because it's what people wore ''on the scene'' everyone just fallows musicians and what they're wearing. if so many people didn't dress that way, i would totally respect it and think it was cool. but i think people need to focus more about who they are on the inside, instead of trying to impress everyone with their clothes.
  5. It will be HUGE and then over in like 2 minutes.... trends like this get so big that no one wants it anymore and then it dies in a blink.
  6. Audrey Kitching is so made up. Her real hair is very very curly and it's brown. She wears a wig, as i've been told and wears a face full of makeup. So don't say she's literally the creator of scene and that's she passes as scene. She's just very fake. And when I say she wears make up, she wears ALOT.
