Scene Style - I like the emo clothing style but i dont want to be considered emo or an emo poser.should i just go with it?

I like the emo clothing style but i dont want to be considered emo or an emo poser.should i just go with it?

it seems to be the only style that really fits me but im not emo and dont cut or get depressed or anything.

i think you should just go with it, but still incorporate things that show that you're not emo, like certain things that emo people wouldnt wear... lol i love the way emo guys dress, but im not emo, actually really far from it, but there was this guy that dressed like semi-emoish (if that makes sense) but he also added things that emos wouldnt wear (at least at my school) like he had these really nice nike shoes and they were really bright (hard to describe) but it wasnt emo and just other simple things, but it was super hott :D lol but i think you should just go with it hope that helped :D
i think emo clothes can look really good on boys, specially the ones that arent emo. you could just mix it up eg black skinny jeans but instead of wearing a black band t-shirt pair them with a man cardigan and chucks, it always looks good.
no offence but if you start dressing like an emo, everyones gonna start calling you an emo, and then life will be hell abnd you prob will become an emo. so just wear what everyone else is wearing, and is you ask me emo clothes are reeeeaalllyy ugly, so i probably wouldnt go for that style :)

if you are like that it is scene and that is the way I dress and I love it but I don't cut or anything it is just a style right.

Yeah, just go with it. You can incorporate your personality with the emo look. You don't need the "complete" emo look. Get things/styles you like/love about the emo look and coordinate them with your ordinary wear.
You guys are so biased. To the girl who said nike's aren't part of the 'emo scene' shut up. Your going for the 'scene' look which is basically emo styled hair and clothing, without depression. Sure go for it...but ignorant kids who don't know the difference will still call you emo..thats just being a teenager. Its not that bad unless you go to a school with little diversity.
