Scene Style

personally, would do you think of the scene style?

not the people. what do you like about the clothes, what do not like about them. and the most important question, when your first saw a picture of a scene kid, what was yyour first impression, honestly?

1. honestly i think its very artsy, i like it its not for me but it is nice on other people.
2. They have a very eccentric and bold style It would be great if everyone didnt look the same though . . .

4. i personally prefer muted/earthy colors, so when i see scene clothing i think ick. to me, scene style looks cheap and like you're trying too hard. i don't mean to be mean, but it's just kind of the opposite of my style.

6. i like the clothes and stuff but i think its about being different but now everyones doing it so its not really original anymore =/

11. Fake everything about them is fake. their hair is fake (full of extensions) their face is fake (they paste makeup on) they are dress they same all they do is talk about their hair, makeup, and bands they sound like a monkey on crack only thing good about them is that they...oh wait, nothing.
12. There are so many people dressing that way now it doesn't look original anymore. It makes them look like they're seeking attention. Some of the clothes are cute. I think the clothes would be cuter if that type of style wasn't so overrated. My first impression would be "oh okay" It's an every day thing you always see.
13. When I just saw a scene kid walking at the mall the other day I was so amazed, not because she was scene but I love how she pulled her outfit all together. Her sense of clothing inspire me because I love fashion and clothes! The "scene" clothing is pretty much about bright and cutesy colors and styles. Honestly, I like scene clothes
14. I think that if they are nice people, then I wouldn't/don't give a crap about what they look like! :D

Well you could say that there's a billion different types of scensters. :P I think the ones that are original are beautiful people, and the ones that all look the same and especially the posers are not! Yeah, the not-original ones piss me off because all they talk about is how original they are. The genuine ones are all sweethearts- all the ones I've met. My first impression is based on what subgenre they fall under. :)
16. I love scene style! I'm not really a fan of black though, I prefer bright colours. But I love how different scene style is.
17. i personally like it, it takes courage to do, in my opinion what i like is they have a certain style and that style is undefined :P they wear WHATEVER they want and it works! They wear tutu's and they dont look stupid or childish :)

19. The clothers are okay, if you pull them off right. With a fashion sense, some just fail doing it. Some can be really ignorant and snobby bitches, but I know a couple that don't care just about their looks. Their more than fake hair and makeup, you know. I was like ok their alright looking, its just another trend. It's not hurting me in anyway, so why bother caring. Things pass and go.
