How can I effectively change my style to scene/emo?

My wardrobe varies from Indie to Classy, to Girly, and Preppy. I have a lot of unique dresses, hats, and scarves, but some basic pieces of clothing like hoodies and jeans. My shoulder-brushing hair is layered, naturally blonde, and moderately curly. I want to establish my style as scene/emo. How can I effectively change my look, and what should I invest in to be able to keep it up on a daily basis?

for your wardrobe, invest in some skinny jeans, coloured tights and shorts, character tshirts are great too. Like hello kitty, sesame street charactors etc. As for your hair, get short layers and dye it another colour, maybe just put black underneath for the long bits, and keep blonde for the layers. use youtube tutorials to get the poofy scene hair, and get a fringe cut to cover one of your eyes. Heavy eyeliner and eye makeup is a must, and lots of accesories like fluro sutff and cute purses,key chains, etc. your daily routine should consist of, picking out a cute outfit, spoofing up your hair and applying eyemakeup. and listen to music, lots of musicc
Skinny Jeans, Layered Ts, Converse, Eyeliner, DCs, pacsun, long necklaces, neon colors, chunky bracelets lots of peace signs, headbands, dogtags, spiky belts. Im not emo/scene styled my whole closet is pretty much A&F or Hollister, i ahve some pacsun jeans and a few shirts but i know all about the Emo/Scene stlye.
This was my situation too-the scene fashion is sooo freakin cute wich is why I haven't switched back. First off-slowly began ur tranformation (or u will be called a posuer) by wearing skinny jeans and little heavier make-up. Then get colorful shirts and straighten ur hair and a few final touches will be fun streaks in ur hair and lots of kid-ish accessories. Hot topic, glamour kills and bleeding star are good clothes for scene ppl.
hi ^_^ i am a scemo scene+emo, and what you need to do is if you can die ur hair black with unatural colors or have some extintions from hottopic, if you cant the have someone put light brown or dark brown streaks in ur hair underneath so you can see it and not see it at the same time, and about the waredrobe be random, edgie, ware black with a whole lot of neons, important! SKINNY JEANS! or poofy skirts! if you want scene makeup start with a powder a little bit lighter than ur skink and ton of eye liner dont forget to do the cat eye! oh yah dont forget to straighten ur hair and under comb/tease the first layer of hair! hope dat was enough!
omg gosh im tired of these freggin posers and fakes just be ur freggin self drown in ur fake personality
sell a lot of "preppy" clothing on ebay.. use the money to go crazy on sites like livid thorn or drop dead! get a nice denim ripped skirt, some vans, youtube "scene make up" and things, pick up some tips! etc etc! and there you go! awesome :)
