can you have a scene style without the scene hair?

I have dark brown hair (everyone thinks its black) and i streighten it. It has short layers and big bangs but i usually streighten it and pull back my bags so i dont get lots of acne.

1. You never have adopt one style completely. It's fine, and better really, to take the elements that work for you from one or many styles. Any time you feel obligated to do something to fit in with a style, it stops being genuine.
2. yes yes yes ! thats basically what my hair looked like a year ago (now its platinum, blue, and purple :P) the key to pull off the scene style when you have 'normal' hair is how you dress! skinny jeans are a mustttt wear alot of neon, or anything colorful alot of little kid like things (hello kitty, dinosaurs..) band tees and pearls help too also, makeup helps alot just make it clear that its 'scene makeup' (winged eyeliner, colorful eyeshadow..) also, if you wear bows in your hair that helps alot! good luck cupcake :) peace. love. rawr.
