How long do u thing the emo style will last?

nobody still dresses like the 80's..i hope. How long do u thing before it runs out? What do u thing the new "style" might be?

5. i hope it dies soon. i didnt mind it at first when it was just all the REAL emos doing it....but now its out of hand and suddenly nine out of ten kids in my town is emo...its stupid. idk what the next trend will be. im hopeing a little slice of europe comes over here and people start creating their own individual looks rather than relying on what the media tells them too.
6. Give it around a decade or so--it'll last about as long as punk did. Then they'll come up with something that's somehow worse.
7. emo means emotional. it's not a style. it's a feeling. it's also a type of music. it's a made up stereo type.

11. well, since emo originally first started in 1995 i'd say it's been around for a while. but ever since the mall kids got a hold of it, who knows how long it will last? i'd say it will be around until no more money can be made off of it, because that is all the current "emo" is about.
