How to you cut your hair yourself and make it look,that emo type style?

4. i dont reccommend that you cut it yourself.go to a salon and get it cut then change it yourself afterwards if you dont really like it.
5. If you can make a high pony tail, you can do an 'emo' style cut. Take the hair up tightly on top of the head in a band. Wrap a couple more bands above then chop off the pony, you will be left with graduated layers which are shorter on the top going to longer. I wouldn't really recommend doing it yourself though as it may well go wrong. Do you have a friend who can help?

I wouldn't cut it myself honestly because you would not get it exactly right for emo, if you get the emo look wrong it mkes you look like a pozer so i would go to a salon or something but i would also recommend bringing like a picture of an emo hair style just to tell the hair cutter what your main goal is.

9. spike it in the back and maybe add a streak of color. Also put your bangs in front of your face. "tease it" :)
