  1. your not scene. ugh.
  2. invest in a decent straightener, especially if your hair is thick/wavy. if your hair is already heavily chopped and layered, good. if not, get it done. don't go to a gene juarez salon and expect them do it for you -- find a relatively "punk rock"/"alternative" salon in your area. if you live in places like la/seattle/ny, this will be no problem. as for styling, back-comb/tease LOTS and use LOTS of lightweight hairspray. i find aussie "instant freeze" to be good. it's very rough on your hair though, beware. here's a decent video tutorial that'll demonstrate better than words can: http://youtube.com/watch?v=mNKuTKGUZeg&feature=related if you search on youtube, there are LOTS more. hope that helps.
  3. well...im gettin scene hair soon....but you should think about it..the layers at the top are short and the bottom are long and thin..so u should just go to the hairdresser and ask about..also bring a photo or something..and u cant really style it..just straighten it..and also get a side bang... hope this helped :]
  4. add my myspace adn i can tell you i have scene hair <3 yup well basically short layers ONLY at the top tease it all around adn thin out your hair at the ends but i tried that adn it didnt work well so i cut it shorter lentgh and it gave me more layers to tease adn extensions looked nice wit them
