Scene style. How to not look like a poser?

So I wear skinny jeans, converse, and dark clothing right now. But i am about to dye my hair dark brown and style is in the scene look. I would like to know how to avoid being called a poser, I am not one I have been wearing this style for years now. And no I do not call myself emo I just don't know another word to explain to you guys. If you don't wear makeup do you look like a poser? thx <3

1. If you're not a poser you shouldn't have to worry about looking like one. Who cares what you wear? If it's what you like then wear it.

5. Heyya i understand how you feel i am the same way i have worn skinny jeans for two jeans but just now started wearing bright colored ones like red purple and things like that. Also you shouldn't be called emo and if you are tell the person they have no idea what they are talking about emo came about as a shortened term for overly emotional and people who are depressed and tend to wear black alot. Emo is not a bad thing either it is a way people choice to look. As for being scene don't worry about people calling you poser especially if they are scene themselves just back talk with a i will wear what i like to so shut up :-) have fun with this :-)
6. Just be who you are and don't imitate other people. I agree with the person on the top, if you are already asking them you must be pretending to be something you're not. Either way, people will call you a poser.
7. if your ugly, youll automatically become a poser. no doubt about it. all the non poser scene girls must have the face of a supermodel. seriously. if you dont, then dont even give the scene look a try.
