  1. Most of those SCENE girls are stuck up anyway.. But let me tell you.. A girl in skinny jeans, old-school vans and a band shirt is a girl that gets my attention. =D
  2. what are scene clothes? You mean, you are in a movie or a play?
  3. ahahahaha! that's the most hilarious thing ever. man, be yourself because obviously you're trying to pull off something you aren't and honestly the whole "scene" look is over and has been for a while.
  4. Isn't the point of "scene" not caring what other people think? If so, then shouldn't that answer you question right there? ;)
  5. haha that happens to me too? wierd
  6. if they have questions come back with a question about why or what they are wearing :) just be yourself
  7. walk with a confident look
  8. just be confident and love the way you look and dress and others will follow! i wear yellow uggs and people dont make fun of me cause i have confidence! but this loser in my grade wore green ones and the poor girl couldnt get a break! also maybe you made this change to drastic! try easing into it a little. anshttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081217192358AA2uQ6ower mine?
  9. just be confident look as if you dont care what others think
  10. scene clothes are sooooooooo 2004... god, you must be in middle school. anyways, who cares? it's just clothes, act like normal otherwise the poser radar will go BEEP. the thing about scene chicks is... well, they are SLUTS. become a hipster, it's the next best thing in 2009.
  11. You are who you are just get the confidence to be yourself dont care what others think hey who knows you could start a new trend keep your head up and your confidence its not a bad thing to be different
  12. just walk around and own the look! if you know you look hot then walk around and show it off. people will eventually warm up to it and it will just be the new you. also, when people ask "why?" respond with confidence.
  13. If you don't feel confidence in scene clothes, don't wear them.
  14. I come off confident when i wear clothes like bella's in twilight even though they are plain and people stare i just think they are only staring because they like the look :) unless they glare then they hate the look ha
  15. ^^ thats sooo true. about scene kids being stuck up. there so stupid. they think they're the s h i t just because they dress the way they do. wow. stupidd. ;D
  16. having confidence is a decision which turns into a feeling. You may not feel confident. Probably because you don't feel like you in them. Which just might be a clue that "scene" might just not be your thing. But, if you don't want stares and questions, maybe scene isn't for you, seeing's how that's the whole point of scene. But, when you want confidence, you have to fayne confidence, pretend you have it and act like you do. And after awhile, you won't even think about it, it will come natural to you. You just have to stand back a bit, and relax and realize that most things aren't really that big of a deal.
  17. They just don't like you cause your not exactly like them. They suck. You don't because you are different.
  18. just learn not to care... the first time i wore "scene" makeup everyone was staring at me... now they r all jealous of my makeup skills =]
  19. Scene is out. If you're not comfortable in what you're wearing (and I don't mean whether it itches or not, I'm talking confidence) than obviously it's not the right thing for you. Clothing should be something that adds to your confidence, not something that calls for a major confidence adjustment. But if scene is what makes you all fuzzy inside, then you should be proud of your new look.
  20. hey there. i hope my answer helps u out a bit. it really depends on how u changed? like was is dramatic? but most importantly if anyone asks u what happend just say.. don't worry about it. what matters is that u like the way u look, and it will always look good, if u are confident with yourself. in other words... a special outfit is only special if u say its special. do u get my point? haha kinda went off topic, but hope it helped
  21. you CAN'T be confident when your portraying and copying every other teenage scene wannaba. It just makes you look like a clone. Being yourself gives you confidence and its easy to relax cause you are your own self. copying someone makes you feel like you have to be someone else and try extra hard to look cool. not a good idea.
  22. keep wearing what u want and ignore it. i get weird glares from people for wearing gothic clothes too. after a while it doesnt bother u any more. if u like dressing as a scene, awesome. dont like stares from other people stop u.
  23. be ur self not something else
  24. ignore them.
  25. you're a complete idiot............stupid scene kids. how about you go and wash your hair, buy proper clothes, and wash your face as well? Don't forget to take off the fake lashes
  26. own the clothes and dont let the clothes own u just walk with ur head high shoulders back and answer there questions
  27. my advice would be to dress normally tomorrow, or when you go back to school, and then slowly incorporate your scene look one piece at a time, like a hairclip, or some sneakers, or a band tee. if you do it all at once people will be confused, but gradually, over time, people won't be so shocked.
  28. well maybe you shouldnt wear scene clothes? kind of ugly... but if you really like them for some reason, then dont listen to anyone else if you know that you look good then that should give you confidence right there.
  29. I know I wouldn't feel confident either if I look retarded like a scenester. -Pats your back-
