How should I style my "scene" style hair to please my mother?

I recently got my hair cut in the scene style, and I love it! Unfortuantely my mom doesn't so much. So, for my senior pictures coming up in july, I am suppose to style it differently; she can't stand it all poofed up. Please help me figure out how I can style my hair and please my mother! Any suggestions welcome. Info about my hair: brown hair, bangs, to my shoulders with the longest layer and my shortest about 2.5-3 inches

1. i would still tease it just not as much, and then i would take a 3/4 barrel curling iron and do big fat waves(do it in 2 inch sections) all over. then comb through it, spray it with hairspray and your done.
2. Tease it some, but not too too much like you usually might. :] Or maybe have some pictures where it's poofed and some not?

5. I think you should just not tease it as much, it will still look like your style and it will be a little toned down so your mom will like it too. Plus, if you put something in it, like a headband that might be cute as well. Don't piss your mom off more, that was a stupid answer, be mature about it remember she is the one paying for them so she does have some say in them as well. Good luck, I'm sure you will look great!
