Scene Style

I want to style my hair scene. What should I tell my stylist?

I like the layered scene look. How should I describe it to my hair stylist?

  1. taking pictures usually help allot, if they don't really get what you're saying. =)
  2. I suggest you collect pictures of how you want your hair so that you can bring it to the stylist. That will help them out a lot. Basically, you want your hair extremely layered, with the top being only about 2 inches long. Then, you want to get the bottom thinned out a lot. I'd also suggest getting the TIPS of all the layers razored. That is about it really. And if your stylist needs help in terms of how that should be styled (which many do because for some reason, every stylist I've come across has never encountered "scene" hair) then explain that the top should be teased a lot. That should be followed by an application of volumizing product (I suggest you buy Aveda Hair Potion so you can duplicate the style at home) or pomade to the roots before finishing with volumizing hairspray.
  3. bahahah scene is dumbbbb.
  4. bring her in a picture. to give her a good idea. tell her you want short layers. but to keep the length. you just want it all choppy and cute.
