Scene Style

Planning to get my hair cut scene style - what should I ask my hairdresser for?

I have medium-long length hair and want to get it cut scene style - long underneath but short layers on top with a big side fringe. How should I explain this to my hairdresser? Also, does anyone have any good photos to illustate this? Thanks!

  4. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=rif2i0&s=4 i brought this into my hairdresser.. she only messed up on one thing.. to have "scene " hair. .. you have like a side part.. and she cut mine so that when my hairs pareted to the side.. the hair on one side of my head is down to my shoulder.. and the other side.. the shortest piece is a lil past myeye.. just make sure she understands.. the pieces are supposed to be different lengths so that it looks the same on both sides =] good luck
