Scene Style

Is anyone already sick of the "scene" style besides me?

Being unique means finding your own way not jumping on the next wagon that rolls through town - Where is the originiality??? There are some cute aspects involved & I am not against someone "borrowing" a few ideas from the fad but what I'm over every 13yr old screaming..."I am going totallly scene!"

1. Go to LA, NY, Paris...one of the costal cities or fashion capitals and that's generally where you'll find more creativity and individuality, because trends usually start on the coast and make their way inward (in the US) or in the fashion capitals (NY, LA, Tokyo, Sydney, Paris, Milan, etc.......) and then make their way around the world. If you live in a smaller town, chances are that the general fashion sense is more homogenous because people are less exposed to the newest fashion trends and are less willing to take risks fashion-wise. THe smaller town mentality tends to dictate people towards fitting in rather than standing out, which is more common in larger or more fashion conscious cities. Stop worrying about what other people are doing with their style choices and start setting your own trends if you're tired of what you're seeing---maybe others will catch on.
2. so sick of it. everyone is like, OMG i wanna be sceeene!! yeah!! well it's really starting to piss me off. why does everyone wanna dress the same? stupid.
3. "scene" style? Im not sure what that is really....but nothing is Original someone somewhere had the same idea or wore the same thing....whats wrong with wearing what you want...even if that means whats popular today. I think it is silly to lock anyone into a stereotype...if we see someone dressed all "punk" who are we to say that persons so not "punk" there just trendy.....maybe theyre not "punk" maybe they like the clothes.
4. I agree.It's wayy to mainstream these days.Half the people who want to be "scene" dont even go to shows or listen to the music.They just do it to be trendy.
