what do you think of scene kids? scene kids: A scene kid is basically like emo kids.. Scene kid...nuff said...? ok...so i am 18 and have always lived in a city with a big music scene...so i am a scene kid...no rude comments...i have scene hair and always wear band tees and stuff like so (some ppl dont know what i look like lol) so anyways...imoved to a small town to go to college at...there is no music scene what so ever...that i know of.. so yesterday i went to a local mall thing and walked past a group of young (15-16) really preppy lookin girls looks at me and the ppl i'm with and says "scene makeup, scene clothes, typicall scene girls" and i went off on her..she had her mommy talk it a security guard...and every1 is really rude here...needless to say country life sux...what am i suposed to do...lol btw...i'm also friends wit a lot of "rednecks" and "preps" and "ghetto" ppl along wit the "scene kids" not using and labels or anything tho... i am a really friendly person...i like almost every1

Emo/Scene kids? I got called 'emo' the other day simply for taking a walk while wearing black pants, a black zip up, and a grey shirt. Why does it matter what color people's clothes are? Why do all the underclassmen at my school try to be scene kids? Honestly, it's really annoying.

Why do people hate scene kids so much? I'm being serious. What's wrong with some people, can't you just accept them for who they are? Yeah, so what if they wear tight neon clothes and have a different hair style than you. They like it, so why can't you just accept it? And about the personality, not all of them are stuck-up, conceited and ignorant. Most of the scene kids are just being their own person. I just think it's pretty stupid how you can go ahead and judge a person just by their appearance. Do you think they look scary? Well, they think it's unique. Is it their clothing choices? They don't exactly like yours either, but they don't judge on that. Their music taste? They don't give a shit about what you say about it, just leave them to their own opinion and let them listen to whatever they want. They're not that different from you, it's pretty much like racism only you're too self-centered to realize that they can have their own opinion about things. Leave the scene kids alone, they didn't do anything to you. And the bisexuality trend, those are just posers and I personally don't think they're real scene kids if all they want to do is just follow the trend so they might appear to be "cool." Posers are if you try too hard and turn out be a big fake than what you really are. Scene kids aren't posers.

I'm in a ska punk but the girl I like is like is a couple years younger than me and she likes this deuche bag who listens to "realy hardcore" music. he wears girl pants and flat brimmed hats. any true hardcore band I've seen (sick of it all, h20) have just looked like tough dudes who wore normal clothes. why do these scene kids think these outfits represent their music? anyway I bet she thinks its cool but I would sooner chew my own penis off than dress like that. am I wrong in this?

Scene clothing advice? I see all these scene kids with awesome hoodies, t shirts, belts, etc, and I'm always left wondering, where the fuck did they get them? I'm not sure where they buy anything, my skinny jeans are from ethier Topshop or H&M and I'm not too particular about either, but I don't know where else to look. The only sources I know for hoodies is, Blue Banana, Attitude Clothing, H&M, and ebay, but I haven't found anything I like. And a few indepentant brands like Modern Michcheif, Bleeding Star, Johnny Cupcakes, etc. The problem is, most of the independant brands I've only sell t shirts and I'm looking for an awesome hoodie or jacket, but don't know where the fuck to look. I'm at a loss. So, am I just far too picky, or am I looking in the wrong places? Might be worth adding I'm from the UK. And I'm male also.
